Ingredients

32 oz. water

32 almonds

 

Preparation

Soak almonds overnight in water. Peel almonds.
Combine water and peeled almonds in Vitamix and
blend for 1 minute at high speed.
If using a regular blender (not a Vitamix), strain
the almond milk through a cheesecloth. 
 
For chocolate almond milk, add to basic recipe: 5 dates,
2 tablespoons of raw unsweetened cocoa powder.  
Optional – scrape 1 vanilla bean or add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 
Blend for one minute in Vitamix at high speed.
  
Enjoy within 24 hours!
